Hi im applying to study at Concordia University in Montreal for the fall for English literature, and i can't seem to see anywhere if i need a letter of intent? does anyone know? Asked by Sam M - Sat Feb 6 00:08:01 2010 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. No not all uni programs require a letter of intent. Some unis do and some don't, depends on the program. If its not posted then they probably don't require it, although I would call that particular college department and ask them just to make sure. Answered by Nyx - Sat Feb 6 00:30:03 2010 What is the difference between British and American university programs of study? Q. How long does each take to complete? How does the substance of comparable degrees differ? How do costs compare? Asked by Carroll B - Sat Jan 2 17:00:18 2010 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. The biggest difference is that in Britain you apply for a single subject, and that's what you study. maths. Chemistry. English Literature. No picking and choosing a bunch of classes and taking years to decide what your degree will be in. No maths classes if you are studying English. The basic content questions and cost? I'm afraid you'll have to do your own research. Far too general a question. I don't know where you are (and you don't have to tell me) but I would look into schools in your state (in-state tuition is sooo much cheaper) which offer majors in some of the following areas: 1. Non-profit administration/management 2. Public administration 3. International Development or International Relations 4. Social Change (believe it or not, there are some majors called that) 5. Social Responsibility/Corporate Social Responsibility or something that sounds like that. I think you should also consider: 5. Journalism 6. Sociology 7. Anthropology 8. Education 9. Law 10. Healthcare Essentially, whatever program you pick, I recommend taking a variety of courses to give you a broader experience...management and accounting… [cont.] Answered by novellaidea - Sat Mar 7 01:05:46 2009 From Yahoo Answer Search: "university programs" |
