A. Not many Americans are familiar with LTTE. Even if you called them the "Tamil Tigers," few would recognize it. But this American is, and I do believe the official report of his death. His followers have much to gain by claiming otherwise, of course, but I'm pretty sure I remember his corpse being shown on TV. Probably a good indication that the dude is dead.
