does any one have a Massey Ferguson Filter cross reference?
Q. I have an MF40 and the filter is a Marvel 60645-I am trying to find a replacement. I am also wondering if my tractor is an MF40B,C or E. It has a diesel,3pt,2wd,auto trans, draft control,no pto. The filter is mounted in a Cessna can on outside of loader.

A. Here are the reference pages you need to look up your filter. Then if you need to get more answers to your tractor questions the gardenweb tractor forum is a good place to go.

A. Call your local NAPA store. They LOVE to come out and organize your filters for you. Especially when they think they're going to be supplying said filters. They do it for free and they give you a cross reference book, too.

I will change the oil filter on a boat engine (Volvo Penta). Which brand is the best?
Q. Also, can car oil filters cause any problems? I have cross referenced a Sierra with Wix, K&N, and Purolator. Would those cause any problems or would you stick with a "Marine" oil filter. Thanks in advance.

A. Use any one you want, they are the same. I like Fram, then from your list Purolator.

Need some help running a filter on Microsoft Excel 2007 for 2 seperate files.?
Q. I have two seperate files that I'm trying to cross reference. My goal is to see if there is some date from the 1st file missing from the 2nd file. Would I combine them on just 1 file and run a filter or have 2 seperate books and run a filter there or is possible to do it with 2 seperate files? Could someone give me some heads up and direction? Thanks a billion! FYI- I am on Vista.

A. you can't use the sort&filter button over 2 files. you can use an if() function to refer to 2 files (as long as both files are open). you dont give file names or ranges so try something really basic - open up a new file - keep Excels default name Bool1 (or Book1.xlsx or whatever) - in A1 to A20 put in 20 dates - open up a 2nd new file named Book2 - in A1 to A15 put in dates (make some of these dates different or missing from the 1st files list of dates) - back in Book1 cell B1...copy&paste this formula =IF(COUNTIF([Book2]Sheet1 !$A$1:$A$15, Sheet1!A1)>0,"both","Miss ing from sheet2") - copy B1 highlight down to B20 and paste that should tell you whats in both and whats missing you can sort by column B or use your filter...then do what… [cont.]

harley davividson/ s&s. i have a S&S 96ci. evo style motor?
Q. need to know the part number for the 30 micron evo style oil filter so i can cross Reference with a 30 micron K&N oil filter. i said evo , not twin cam.
Asked by cool_hand_luke613 - Sun May 24 17:23:32 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The S&S motor calls for a 31-4102 (chrome), and 31-4101 (black) filter,..thats for '84-'99 Evo big twins,... as you may know. The K&N site crosses over to KN-170(black), and KN-170C (chrome). The K&N tech page says the 171's for twin cams have the 10 micron media, and the 170's have 30 micron rating. Hope that satisfies your requirements... take care. Ride Safe.

How do you like my science fiction story?
Q. Data Ghosts Frank stepped onto the grimy pavement and his eyes were instantly bombarded with information from the world around him. Scanning the sidewalk to the left and right before merging with the flow of human traffic, he ignored the fashion ads being targeted to him by the boutique across the street and the menu items from several competing delis nearby. Melting into the foot traffic bordering the busy street, Frank reached one hand up to the strap crossing his chest from shoulder to hip. The strap held a shapeless tan bag secured against his lower back. The bag held his only real possession. This same possession had allowed him to relieve the bank he was exiting of a modest sum of money despite not being a registered user of said… [cont.]

A. Wow. That's fantastic. It's so far above par with some of the ideas/stories on here, it just blows my mind. I like the technology, I like the way you approched the murders, rather than just saying "They were dead," you described some of the events leading up to it and you used technology to your advantage to give it suspense and quite the twist. The one thing that annoys me, and it's a weird thing to be annoyed by, is the character's name. Frank. His name just sticks out like a green apple in a bunch of red ones. In the futuristic world, approximately 50 years in the future, right? A normal name would be like a middle aged person now with a name like "Edna." It just dosent fit the time, you know? Great job so far. I'm expecting to see… [cont.]

PSN ID change help please?
Q. A while back, I joined PSN via my PSP and I downloaded some stuff. Demos, a game or two. No problem. One of these games was Syphon Filter Combat Ops. It's pretty good, but my brother got to playing it first on his PSP. We go through the same account, so he can download whatever I do, and what I've paid for. He set the online ID to "SavedbyScars." It's supposed to be a christian reference (Jesus died on the cross so we could be forgiven of our sins), but many, many people take it as extremely emo. I'm not emo, and I don't think my brother is. Problem is, when I go in account management>profiles to change it, it says online ID and where it tells my ID theres no box or anything I can select to change it. Can someone tell me how to? Please?

Physics problem. Please show how to break down to steps and solve (i need to understand concept behind it)?
Q. Interpret the graph in the figure below. The divisions along the vertical axis correspond to 0.030 N and the divisions along the horizontal axis correspond to 1.5 (m/s)2. (a) Find the slope of the straight line, including its units. [I'm confused about the units] (b) From the equation below, identify the theoretical slope of a graph of resistive force versus squared speed. (Use rho for rho, D, and A as necessary.) R=1/2DrhoAv^2 slope =? (c) Set the experimental and theoretical slopes equal to each other and proceed to calculate the drag coefficient of the filters. Use 1.20 kg/m3 for the density of air. Model the cross-sectional area of the filters as that of a circle of radius 8.50 cm. D = (d) Arbitrarily choose the eighth… [cont.]
